We provide three versions of sucker rods: solid sucker rods, hollow sucker rods and special sucker rods for PC pumps. The features are as follows:
The rod connector is welded with the rod body through friction welding followed by heat treatment and rolling depression. The sucker rods have the advantage of stable mechanical property and improved fatigue strength.
The thread is machined using a compression and rolling machine resulting in a continuous metal fiber of the thread. This technique improves thread strength and decreases stress concentration. The center diameter of the thread is controlled strictly, which makes the load to be evenly taken by the thread teeth thus increasing load capacity and preventing loosening of the connection.
The rod body, connector and coupling are made of quality 20CrMo and 35CrMo quenched and tempered alloy steel, which improves overall mechanical properties.High coaxiality between the connector thread and the rod body gives the sucker rod high bending strength.
(⇑Overview)

Our solid sucker rods are produced by friction welding. The connector and the coupling are machine processed which improves thread strength and solves the problems of broken rods, loosened or unscrewed connections. The solid sucker rods conform to the standards of Sucker Rods SY/T5029-2003 Grade D or Ultra-High Strength Sucker Rods Grade H.

An advanced composite coating consisting of an epoxy resin coating and 1Cr18Ni9Ti coating makes these especially resistant to salt water, hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide and increases abrasion resistance.
By using surface engineering technology the coupling gets better mechanical properties than conventional couplings and has a perfect corrosion and abrasion resistance. The hardness of the coating is higher than HRC56 and the combined strength reaches more than 400MPa.

(⇑Overview)
A hollow sucker rod is a special sucker rod designed to produce oil with a high pour point, high viscosity and high paraffin content. The connector and the coupling are welded to the two ends of a seamless pipe through friction welding. The passage inside the rod is responsible for several distinct features of hollow sucker rods. Our sucker rods conform to the standard of Hollow Sucker Rods SY/T5550-1998 Grade D.

(⇑Overview)
According to customers' requirements special hollow sucker rods for PC pumps have been developed. They prevent the rod from being broken or become loose.
There are two kinds of driving sucker rods: solid driving sucker rods and hollow driving sucker rods. There are four types of connections: double shoulder straight thread type, double shoulder tapered thread type, jack thread type and wedge jack left hand thread.

Thread size is augmented which improves capacity connection safety.
Using double shoulder, adding a load bare surface improves connection safety effectively. The shoulder area doubles so that it can take more heavy transient torque and reversal torque thus preventing the thread from breakdown. Easy assembly and disassembly, can be reused many times.

A double shoulder structure enlarges the locking area of the connection and the coupling thus decreasing distortion, axial pull and axial load on the thread. This leads to a greatly improved stability and prevents breaking or loosening of connections.

Relying on the shift fork transfer torque, shift fork matching accuracy and twisting strength is high. The coupling and the thread are only for connection, they are resistant to pull but not to torque thus improving thread strength.

The part of the wedge jack is of V type, the root is relatively thick, twisting strength is high. The thread is only for connection. Usage of a left hand thread prevents the thread from being unscrewed by coupling frictions with the tubing wall.
