Sucker Rod Pumps

API 11AX subsurface sucker rod pumps (including tubing pump and rod pump) are manufactured with advanced technology and equipment imported from the U.S.A and have been granted to use the officialSucker Rod Pump API monogram on the pumps an its fittings.
The pumps we offer range from ø 28 to ø 108 mm. Special subsurface sucker rod pumps can be designed and manufactured according to customers' requirements.
The inner surface of the pump barrel is processed by carbonization quench and chrome plating technology and the plunger surface is processed with thermal metal spraying technology. The pump meets the requirements of long stroke, high speed and deep production and has the advantages of high pumping efficiency, large displacement, wear and corrosion resistance, long operation and easy repairing.

Rod Pumps

Rod pumps are also referred to as "insert pumps" as there plunger is attached to, and moves up and down with the sucker rod string. Rod pumps are suitable for reducing the time of workover for deep wells as it is not necessary to pull all the tubing out off the well hole when checking the pump. This leads to faster operation and a longer service live of the tubing.
Rod pumps are in a state of “free hanging”, so it is suitable for deviated wells. According to the seating mode, sucker rod pumps can be divided into two types: cup hold-down and mechanical hold-down. Top anchor pumps with a stationary barrel are suitable for sand production wells since the fluid discharged from the guide cage washes away the sand between the tubing and the top of the ump. However, the pump barrel is more subject to inside pressure and tensile load caused by the fluid column, and the plunger clearance intends to increase during up stroke so the top anchor pumps are not recommended in deep wells.

These sucker rod pumps are suitable for deep wells since the barrel only bears pressure from outside and does not bear tensile load and its clearance change is small. However, they are not recommended for extreme sandy conditions since there is no circulation of the well fluid around the outside of the barrel so the pump may become stuck in the tubing by packed sand.

Traveling Barrel Bottom Anchor Rod Pump (Insert Pump) | RHTC, RHTM

(⇑Overview)

In this pump the barrel is attached to, and moves up and down with the sucker rod string. The plunger is connected to the hold-down by a hollow pull tube and remains stationary. The traveling barrel keeps the fluid in motion and sand is washed down, which minimizes the possibility of sand setting around the pump and sticking it. The traveling barrel is particularly recommended for wells being pumped intermittently since the ball in the top cage will seat when the well is shut down, so sand cannot settle inside of the pump. The traveling barrel pump is not suitable for gassy wells and viscous fluid wells. It is not recommended for pumps with long strokes in deep wells, either.

Tubing Pump

The barrel is run into the well with the tubing and becomes part of the tubing. The plunger is run into the barrel with a sucker rod. Giving the tubing size, the bore of a suitable tubing pump is larger than that of the rod pump, so the pump rate is higher. For some high volume oil wells tubing pumps with a larger bore can be run if an on-off connector is installed. Tubing pumps are the strongest pumps. They have a large flowing area for the fluid and are adaptable for producing viscous fluid.
We provide THC pumps (stationary heavy wall cup hold-down tubing pump), THM pumps (Stationary heavy wall mechanical hold-down tubing pump) and THD (stationary heavy wall tubing pump, where the standing valve cannot pulled out).

Special Purpose Sucker Rod Pumps

On the basis of conventional pumps, special purpose pumps have been developed with most of the spare parts complying to API Spec 11AX Subsurface Sucker Rod Pumps and Its Fittings. These pumps consist of sand control pumps, gas control pumps, deviated hole pumps, pumps for heavy oil as well as hanger enforced pumps which solve the producing problem of sand wells, gas wells and high viscosity crude oil.

High sand content not only makes the barrel, plunger, valve ball and seat heavily abraded, but also makes the pump plugged and immersed by sand which results in more pump repair operations and interferes with normal production. Sucker rod pumps for Heavy Oil

With high viscosity and high flowing resistance, heavy oil often causes hard going down of the sucker rod string and partial wear between the rod and the tubing wall, thus decreasing the pump constant, delaying valve closing, reducing pump efficiency and influencing normal production of the well. Heavy oil sucker rod pumps have been developed to overcome the above problems.

Immersed Triple Control Pump

In contrast to common pumps, this kind of pump changes the oil feeding way by using a sealing between the long plunger and the barrel and a forced open-shut oil passage.
