Drilling Rig Drawworks

We provide a wide range of advanced technology drawworks directly from our partner manufacturer in China.

  • All bearings are roller bearings, all shafts are made from alloy steel.
  • The high strength, high precision chains of the drawworks are lubricated by means of forced lubrication.
  • The drum is grooved. The high speed end and low speed end of drum adopt a ventilated pneumatic tube clutch.
  • Sprockets been medium frequency induction hardened and shifting clutches are of involute spline gear clutch type.
  • Drawworks equipped with automatic bit-feeding device
  • The main brake of the drawworks is a band brake or hydraulic disk brake, while the auxiliary brake is an Eddy current brake (water-cooled or air-cooled)
  • Medium-frequency induction hardening of the brake drum and brake disk ensures excellent wear-resistance capacity and long service life
  • The chain is oil-lubricated and the bearings are grease-lubricated
  • The drawworks adopts a split type construction
  • All Drawworks conform to API Spec 4F and 8A
